It's The Full Moon - Blue Flower Moon 2019
Dear seekers after truth,
Apologies for missing the full moon last night.
Unforgivable.
Especially when we have a Blue Flower Moon on our hands.
Especially when this week has been crammed with moon news:
The Chinese rover Yutu-2 snagged a couple pieces of rare magma from the dark side.
NASA announced that future travelers to the moon will live in tunnels on the surface, so-called lava tubes, which will provide protection from incoming solar radiation and temperature variations (there's a 500-degree swing when day turns to night).
And scientists in Maryland revealed that the moon is tectonically active. There are moonquakes, apparently.
They also informed us that the moon is wrinkling and shrinking as it ages.
Aren’t we all?
Anyways, here we go:

WRITING NEWS
This month, I recorded a radio piece about writing with visual difficulties. It aired on WBUR’s Morning Edition, via Cognoscenti:

I also wrote about writer’s block for The Writer’s Digest blog:

I guess writers never get sick of writing about writing.
